Mandates newly elected or appointed public officials complete 1-2 hours of training on open meetings (Chapter 21) and open records (Chapter 22) within 90 days of taking office or assuming responsibilities

Directs the Iowa Public Information Board to ensure free training is available and allows it to approve courses offered by other governmental bodies or entities

Adds new confidentiality exemptions for security camera footage from legislative branch systems and state employee ID card access system data for state-owned or leased property
