Requires the Commissioner of Public Safety to establish a human trafficking task force by January 30, 2026, to collaborate with the office to combat human trafficking, identify victim services, and develop public education materials

Task force membership includes 20 members: state officials (Commissioner of Public Safety, Attorney General, directors of Corrections, Education, and Law Enforcement Academy) plus 14 governor-appointed positions including law enforcement officials, county representatives, and six public members

Governor-appointed members serve staggered six-year terms, with initial appointments divided into two-year, four-year, and six-year terms; members may be removed for missing three meetings in a six-month period

Eleven members constitute a quorum, and the Commissioner of Public Safety or designee serves as chairperson

Task force findings and recommendations must be included in the annual report submitted to the general assembly by November 1 each year by the office to combat human trafficking
