Continuing education requirements for licensed professions must relate directly to the practice of the licensed profession and cannot include unrelated requirements

Practitioners licensed by the Board of Education who have worked at least 10 years and hold a master's or doctoral degree are exempt from renewal requirements, unless they hold an evaluator approval endorsement (which must be renewed every 10 years)

Continuing education for licensed professions may be completed by electronic means

Directs the Iowa Supreme Court to adopt or amend court rules for attorney continuing education requirements to ensure they only include requirements directly related to the practice of law

Applies to professions licensed by the Board of Education, licensing boards under Chapter 272C, and attorneys licensed by the Supreme Court
