Amends Iowa Code Section 462A.12 to remove the prohibition on displaying or reflecting solid (non-flashing) blue lights on vessels operating on waters under the Natural Resource Commission's jurisdiction

Maintains the existing prohibition on flashing blue lights, which remain restricted to authorized emergency vessels only

Current law subjects violators of the blue light prohibition to a scheduled fine of $35

Allows recreational and commercial vessels to use solid blue lighting while the restriction on flashing blue lights continues to distinguish emergency vessels
