Exempts investigation reports from Iowa's open records law (Chapter 22) and prohibits their use as evidence or reference in any court proceeding

Makes personal information of train crew members who die in accidents confidential, protecting it from public release in accident reports and law enforcement communications

Allows access to unredacted reports containing deceased crew member information only by the railway corporation, persons authorized by court order, or law enforcement officers for official duties; violations carry a $100 fine per offense
