Allows persons to operate or ride snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles with loaded firearms (concealed or not) without a permit on land they own, possess, or rent, provided conduct is otherwise lawful

Permits carrying loaded pistols or revolvers on snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles on land not owned by the person, as long as conduct is otherwise lawful

Repeals the prohibition on having or carrying a gun in or on a vehicle on a public highway unless the gun is taken down or contained in a fastened case with unloaded barrels and magazines

Eliminates scheduled fines of $35 for conveying an assembled, unloaded gun and $70 for conveying a loaded gun on public highways

Maintains existing exceptions allowing nonambulatory persons to carry uncased, unloaded firearms and discharge firearms from stationary snowmobiles or all-terrain vehicles while lawfully hunting
