Titled the "Stop Woke Act," this bill prohibits diversity, equity, inclusion, and critical race theory-related courses or content from undergraduate general education requirements and core curricula at Iowa Board of Regents institutions.

Defines prohibited content as material promoting ideas that colorblind laws perpetuate oppression, that individuals should receive differential treatment based on race or ethnicity, or that students are inherently biased due to their race or sex.

Bans teaching topics including critical theory, whiteness, systemic racism, microaggressions, implicit bias, intersectionality, gender identity, social justice, allyship, and race-based reparations as they relate to contemporary American society.

Requires the Board of Regents to review all undergraduate general education requirements and core curricula and direct institutions to remove any courses or requirements containing prohibited content by December 31, 2026.

Applies to the University of Iowa, Iowa State University, and University of Northern Iowa as institutions governed by the Board of Regents.
