Prohibits enforcement of non-compete agreements that restrict where health care providers can practice after leaving employment, specifically for critical access hospitals and medical facilities in rural areas as defined under federal regulations (42 C.F.R. §485.610)

Applies to agreements entered into before, on, or after the bill's effective date, making such restrictive provisions void and unenforceable

Covers a broad range of health care providers including physicians, osteopathic physicians, physician assistants, podiatrists, chiropractors, nurses (LPNs, RNs, and ARNPs), dentists, optometrists, pharmacists, and other licensed health care professionals

Does not prohibit non-solicitation agreements that limit a departing health care provider's ability to solicit current or former patients
