Applicants for Class A, B, or C commercial driver's licenses must certify to the Department of Transportation that they completed a motor vehicle operation course that included approved human trafficking prevention training.

Commercial motor vehicle instruction courses must include at least 30 minutes of approved human trafficking prevention training, offered only in English.

The Department of Transportation, in cooperation with the Department of Education and State Board of Education, must approve training materials covering the recognition, prevention, and reporting of human trafficking.

Approved training materials must be made available to the public and reviewed/updated at least once every three years to account for changes and trends in human trafficking.

The Department of Transportation may adopt administrative rules to implement the training requirements.
