Mandates that physicians prescribing abortion-inducing drugs obtain the patient's signature on an FDA patient agreement form and written confirmation that the woman has been informed of specific risks including hemorrhage, incomplete abortion, sepsis, and sterility.

Requires physicians to inform patients that chemical abortion effects may be reversible and that information on reversal is available on the department's website.

Physicians who fail to comply with these requirements are subject to licensee discipline under the Iowa Board of Medicine.

Amends the definition of "abortion" to clarify it does not include treatment of spontaneous miscarriage if products of conception remain and need removal.
