Amends Iowa Code Section 80B.11D, subsection 3, which governs eligibility requirements for short course law enforcement training programs

Removes the requirement that applicants for short course law enforcement training must have completed their police science or criminal justice degree from an accredited educational institution located in Iowa

Allows applicants to qualify with a two-year or four-year police science or criminal justice degree from any accredited educational institution approved by the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy, regardless of the institution's location

Retains the existing requirement that non-certified individuals seeking short course training must be sponsored by a law enforcement agency
