Extends the availability period for supplementary weighting for shared operational functions from the budget year ending July 1, 2034 (current law already establishes this end date)

Exempts supplementary weighting for college and career transition counselors or coordinators from counting toward the 21 additional pupils maximum weighting cap, effective for budget years beginning July 1, 2024

Exempts supplementary weighting for master social workers, independent social workers licensed under chapters 147 and 154C, mental health professionals with board of educational examiners recognition, and school resource officers from the maximum weighting cap, effective for budget years beginning July 1, 2025

School districts sharing operational functions with political subdivisions for at least 20% of the school year receive supplementary weighting to provide additional funding for student opportunities
