Requires health insurance policies, contracts, and plans that cover prescription drugs to provide coverage for prescription cancer drugs used to treat metastatic cancer (stage 4 cancer that has spread from the original site) and associated conditions

Prohibits insurers from imposing step therapy protocols on prescription cancer drugs that are FDA-approved, meet medical standards of care, and are supported by peer-reviewed, evidence-based literature

Applies to individual and group accident/sickness insurance, hospital/medical service contracts, health maintenance organization contracts, and public employee health plans delivered, issued, continued, or renewed on or after January 1, 2026

Exempts specialized insurance types including accident-only, specified disease, short-term hospital, Medicare supplement, long-term care, disability income, workers' compensation, and dental/vision coverage

Authorizes the Commissioner of Insurance to adopt administrative rules to implement the requirements
