Covers consumers with Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, conditions requiring ostomy devices, or other conditions requiring immediate restroom access

Consumers must provide written documentation from a licensed health care professional confirming their eligible medical condition

Retail establishments and their agents are immune from civil liability for injuries to consumers using employee restrooms, unless the act or omission is grossly negligent

Access is not required if it would create obvious health/safety risks to the consumer, obvious security risks to the business, or significantly curtail normal business operations
