Amends Iowa Code section 709.21 to expand invasion of privacy to include attempts to view, photograph, or film another person for sexual gratification, not just completed acts.

Conviction for invasion of privacy or attempted invasion constitutes an aggravated misdemeanor, punishable by up to 2 years confinement and fines between $855 and $8,540.

Persons convicted under this section must register as tier II sex offenders.

If the victim is under 13 years of age, the offense is elevated to a tier III sex offender classification.
