Sex offenders convicted of any subsequent sex offense, including previously expunged convictions, who are already required to register must register for life and are permanently ineligible for removal from the registry.

Registry photographs must be updated at least annually, with offenders fully facing the camera with eyes open; photos with distortions, glare, or blurring must be retaken.

Sheriffs must submit updated photographs to the department within 5 business days, and the department must post them on the sex offender registry website.

Sex offenders with any history of recidivism involving sex offenses, including expunged convictions, are ineligible for modification of their registration requirements.
