Counties are prohibited from adopting or enforcing zoning regulations that prevent industrial or commercial businesses from storing business-related items on property located outside city limits

The protection applies only to independently owned and operated businesses with no more than 30 employees

Qualifying businesses must use a building for storage and cannot have more than one location in the county outside city corporate limits

The business must own the property where it operates and stores items to receive this zoning protection

Creates new Section 335.29 in Iowa Code governing industrial and commercial business storage in unincorporated areas
