Eliminates the provision that made persons ineligible for permits based on documented actions within two years suggesting likely unlawful weapon use or danger to self or others

Removes the prohibition on acquiring pistols or revolvers for persons otherwise ineligible to possess dangerous weapons under Code section 724.8B

Changes firearm transfer restriction language from prohibiting transfers to those "ineligible to possess" dangerous weapons to those "ineligible to carry" dangerous weapons
