Creates an Iowa-Ireland trade commission to promote bilateral trade, investment, and business/academic exchanges between Iowa and the Republic of Ireland

Commission consists of 8 members: 2 state senators, 2 state representatives, a private sector international trade association representative, an economic development authority representative, and 2 Iowa private industry representatives

Members serve 2-year terms with unlimited reappointment eligibility and receive reimbursement for actual expenses including travel, but no compensation for services

Commission must meet at least quarterly and submit annual reports to the governor and general assembly by February 1, detailing meetings, activities, and expenses

Appropriates funds from the general fund to the economic development authority sufficient to cover commission costs
