Prohibits the sale, purchase, application, or use of pesticides containing paraquat (paraquat dichloride or any chemical form of paraquat) in Iowa, with an exception for research purposes approved by the Department of Agriculture or Department of Natural Resources.

Requires any person currently selling, purchasing, applying, or using paraquat to submit a report by December 31, 2026, detailing quantities used, geographic areas of use, and types of crops or applications.

Establishes an Environmental Research and Sustainable Farming Advisory Work Group to review environmental and public health impacts of paraquat and other hazardous pesticides that may cause neurological diseases, and to identify safer alternatives.

The work group includes up to 17 voting members: the Secretary of Agriculture, Director of Natural Resources, and governor-appointed academic researchers, agricultural industry representatives, and public health/environmental advocates.

The reporting requirements and work group provisions are set to be repealed on July 1, 2032.
