Repeals Iowa Code Section 728.7, which currently exempts public libraries and educational institutions from obscenity laws

Removes protection allowing accredited schools, public libraries, and educational programs to use "appropriate material for educational purposes" that might otherwise be restricted under obscenity statutes

Eliminates exemption permitting minors to attend art exhibitions or use materials in public libraries without obscenity law restrictions

Would subject public libraries and schools to the same obscenity regulations as other entities under Iowa Code Chapter 728
