Establishes a Long-Term Care Workforce Solutions Interim Committee to convene during the 2026 legislative interim to review the adequacy and availability of long-term care services, workforce training requirements, recruitment and retention strategies, worker compensation rates, and turnover issues.

Committee consists of 4 voting members appointed by legislative leaders (one each from Senate majority, Senate minority, House majority, and House minority).

Includes 12 nonvoting members representing long-term care consumers and families, the Long-Term Care Ombudsman, Department of Inspections Appeals and Licensing, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Workforce Development, area agencies on aging, and various healthcare associations.

Interim committee must submit findings and recommendations by January 11, 2027, to the Senate and House Health and Human Services committees and the Legislative Fiscal Committee.

Legislative Fiscal Committee must hold a follow-up meeting during the 2027 interim to review the report and submit its own recommendations to the General Assembly by October 31, 2027.
