Allows injured employees to predesignate a primary care physician (family practitioner, pediatrician, internist, obstetrician, or gynecologist) who has previously treated them and retained their medical records to provide workers' compensation treatment

Requires employers to provide written notice to employees of their right to predesignate a physician upon hire, periodically during employment, and again when receiving notice of a workplace injury

Prohibits employers and their insurers from coercing or attempting to influence an injured employee's choice of physician; if employer fails to provide required notification, employee may choose any physician for treatment

Establishes dispute resolution procedures allowing either party dissatisfied with chosen care to communicate concerns and attempt to agree on alternate care, with the workers' compensation commissioner authorized to order alternate care if parties cannot agree

Takes effect January 1, 2026, and applies to injuries occurring on or after that date
