School districts, accredited nonpublic schools, charter schools, and innovation zone schools must immediately place employees on administrative leave if they have a pending case before the Board of Educational Examiners related to child abuse with a finding of probable cause

Employees must also be placed on immediate administrative leave if, while employed by the school, they were involved in any criminal or civil action where a court found them negligent and the school is investigating their actions

Employees placed on administrative leave under these provisions must remain on leave until the Board of Educational Examiners case is resolved or the school's investigation is complete

Amends Iowa Code sections 256E.7 and 256F.4 to extend these administrative leave requirements to charter schools and innovation zone schools in the same manner as school districts
