Adds "food distributor" to the list of entities exempt from criminal and civil liability when donating food in good faith to charitable or nonprofit organizations for free distribution to needy individuals

Existing liability protections already cover gleaners, restaurants, food establishments, food service establishments, schools, manufacturers of foodstuffs, and licensed meat or poultry establishments

Donated food must be for ultimate free distribution to needy individuals, or to the Department of Natural Resources or county conservation boards for use in free interpretive educational programs

Donors must reasonably inspect food at the time of donation and find it fit for human consumption to qualify for immunity

Liability protection does not apply if damages result from negligence, recklessness, intentional misconduct, or if the donor had actual or constructive knowledge that the food was tainted, contaminated, or harmful
