Requires railway special agents to cooperate with city, county, and state law enforcement when investigating criminal offenses or crashes involving Iowa residents or property located within the state

Amends Section 80.25 of the Iowa Code to change terminology from "common carrier by rail" to "railroad corporation" for entities that can employ railway special agents

Authorizes the Commissioner of Public Safety to appoint as special agents persons regularly employed by railroad corporations to protect railroad property, patrons, and employees

Specifies that railway special agents shall not receive any compensation from the state

Defines "railroad corporation" by reference to the existing definition in Iowa Code section 327D.2
