Requires health carriers offering individual, group, or small group health insurance plans in Iowa to offer coverage for acupuncture services performed by licensed acupuncturists

Mandates that acupuncture coverage and cost-sharing requirements (copayments, deductibles, coinsurance) be no less favorable than coverage for general physical illness

Applies to contracts, policies, or plans delivered, issued, continued, or renewed on or after January 1, 2026

Excludes certain specialized insurance types including accident-only, dental, vision, Medicare supplement, long-term care, disability income, and workers' compensation coverage

Authorizes the Commissioner of Insurance to adopt rules to administer the new coverage requirements
