Expands grounds for unemployment benefit disqualification to include "any other remuneration in connection with separation from employment" beyond the current categories of wages in lieu of notice, separation allowance, severance pay, and dismissal pay

Requires that when separation-related payments exceed the weekly unemployment benefit amount, benefits in subsequent weeks must also be reduced by the payment amount until the total reduction equals the full payment received

Maintains existing protections for military service-related compensation, including payments for service-connected disabilities and accrued leave, which do not disqualify individuals from unemployment benefits

Preserves the provision that federal Social Security pension recipients do not face benefit deductions that account for their contributions to the pension program

Applies to separation-related payments received on or after the effective date of the Act
