Noncommercial navigational encroachment permits require a nonrefundable fee of up to $500

Noncommercial nonnavigational encroachments for bank stabilization, erosion control, or fisheries and wildlife habitat improvements require a nonrefundable fee of up to $251,000

Other nonnavigational or commercial navigational encroachments require a nonrefundable base fee not to exceed $3,500, as set by the board

For commercial navigational encroachments, the board shall charge applicants the actual costs of processing if those costs exceed the $3,500 base fee

Applicants must pay the board for costs of publishing notice of the application, which is refunded if notice is not published; those requesting a hearing must deposit funds to cover hearing notice publication costs
