Amends Idaho Code Section 18-915 to enhance penalties for assault or battery committed against specified public officials and employees, including judges, prosecutors, peace officers, correctional officers, firefighters, emergency medical technicians, teachers at detention facilities, and employees of state agencies and political subdivisions.

Increases punishment for battery with intent to commit a serious felony against protected personnel to imprisonment in state prison not exceeding 25 years.

Doubles the standard punishment for any other assault or battery crime against protected personnel, except for specific violations under Sections 18-901 and 18-903.

Creates separate felony provisions for violations against justices, judges, magistrates, jailers, correctional officers, and detention facility employees, establishing imprisonment of not more than 5 years with sentences to be served consecutively to any currently imposed sentences.

Establishes similar 5-year felony penalties for assaults against peace officers, sheriffs, and police officers when the offense occurs because of official duties or official status, with consecutive sentencing requirements.
