Creates the Idaho Childhood Immunization Policy Commission within the Department of Health and Welfare to evaluate childhood immunization policies and make recommendations to the Board of Health and Welfare and the Idaho legislature.

Commission composition includes 8 regular members appointed by various organizations (public health districts, primary care association, hospital association, family physicians, pediatricians, immunization coalition, and medical association) plus one representative each from the Idaho Senate and House of Representatives as ex officio members.

Commission members serve without pay or travel reimbursement, except legislative ex officio members who receive vouched travel expense reimbursement consistent with state policy.

Commission must hold its initial meeting by October 1, 2010, meet at least annually thereafter in Boise, and may participate in meetings electronically; members will elect a chair, vice chair, and secretary annually.

Commission responsibilities include reviewing Idaho Code and department rules on childhood immunization, and recommending legislation and rulemaking on immunization rates, daycare and school immunization requirements, and the Idaho immunization reminder information system; the commission sunsets on July 1, 2014.
