Sailboats are now subject to the same additional invasive species fee as motorized vessels: $10 for state-registered vessels or $22 for U.S. Coast Guard documented or out-of-state registered vessels prior to launch.

Nonmotorized vessel fees increased from $5 to $7 per vessel prior to launch into Idaho public waters.

Licensed outfitters with nonmotorized fleets exceeding 100 vessels pay $1 per additional vessel beyond the first 100, with group rates available to exempt groups as defined in Idaho Code section 36-2103.

Vendors retain $1.50 of collected fees (except for state-registered motorized vessels and sailboats); the department retains up to 20% for sticker program administration; remaining fees deposit into the invasive species fund.

Replacement stickers cost $3 with return of sticker remnants, and vessel manufacturers/dealers may obtain temporary stickers for testing and demonstration purposes.
