Licensed health care professionals in chiropractic, physical therapy, occupational therapy, podiatry, dentistry, or dental specialties are entitled to a lien for reasonable charges on any causes of action or claims accruing to injured persons they treated.

The lien must be filed with the county recorder in the same form as provided under Idaho Code section 45-702, before or within 90 days after the last date of health care services for the injury.

The lien is recorded, indexed, enforced, and released according to procedures in Idaho Code sections 45-703 and 45-704.

A prevailing claimant in an action to enforce the lien may recover reasonable attorney's fees and disbursements from the court.

Liens perfected under existing sections 45-704A and 45-704B have priority over conflicting liens under this new section, regardless of filing or perfection time.
