Adds Section 54-1821 to Idaho Code establishing that no physician-patient relationship is created when a physician provides informal consultation to another physician or licensed health care practitioner treating a patient.

Consultation exemption requires the consulted physician does not examine the patient and provides advice without expectation of compensation.

Consulted physician who does not establish a physician-patient relationship under this section cannot be named on special verdict forms concerning patient care unless there is an independent basis of liability to the patient.
