House Bill 119 Summary

• Amends Idaho Code Section 37-2705 to add numerous opiates, opium derivatives, hallucinogenic substances, depressants, and stimulants to Schedule I controlled substances.

• Adds 55 specific opiates and their chemical variants including fentanyl analogs (acetyl-alpha-methylfentanyl, alpha-methylfentanyl, para-fluorofentanyl) and other synthetic opioids.

• Adds 23 opium derivatives including heroin, desomorphine, and various morphine and codeine analogs.

• Adds 35 hallucinogenic substances including MDMA, psilocybin, lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), marihuana, mescaline, and peyote, with exception for FDA-approved dronabinol in sesame oil.

• Declares an emergency and makes the act effective immediately upon passage and approval.
