Amends Section 5-508, Idaho Code, governing service of summons by publication when defendants reside outside Idaho or cannot be found within the state.

Removes language requiring courts to show what efforts or diligence have been made to find the defendant before ordering publication; an affidavit alone is now sufficient.

Adds provision allowing service on persons, firms, companies, associations, or corporations subject to Idaho court jurisdiction under Section 5-514 to be made using the methods specified in Section 5-515.

Retains existing court authority to order either publication of summons or personal service outside the state when defendant's out-of-state address is known.
