Senate Bill 1034 - University Technology Transfer Act

• Authorizes the State Board of Education to allow colleges and universities under its control to enhance technology transfer to Idaho-based companies and establish foundations for this purpose.

• Grants the University of Idaho authorization to enhance technology transfer to the market by Idaho-based companies and establish foundations to support technology transfer activities.

• Makes technical corrections to Idaho Code sections 33-107 and 33-2804, including updating terminology such as changing "by-laws" to "bylaws" and "regulations" to "rules."

• Declares the act an emergency measure effective upon passage and approval.
