Changes terminology from "workmen's" to "worker's" throughout Section 72-301, Idaho Code to provide correct terminology in workers' compensation law.

Revises language describing insurance coverage requirements, clarifying that employers may insure with any "insurer" authorized by the director of the department of insurance rather than limiting coverage to specific surety types.

Maintains requirements that surety insurers transacting worker's compensation insurance deposit and maintain with the state treasurer money or bonds equal to total outstanding and unpaid compensation awards, or alternatively file surety bonds from authorized companies in equivalent amounts.

Preserves the industrial commission's authority to withdraw approval of any surety insurer or self-insured employer if workers are not fully protected.

Makes technical corrections to the statute including grammatical changes and clarification of regulatory language regarding self-insured employer qualifications.
