Prohibits employment of children under 14 years of age in mines, factories, workshops, mercantile establishments, stores, telegraph/telephone offices, laundries, restaurants, hotels, apartment houses, or in distribution or transmission of merchandise or messages.

Prohibits employment of children under 14 during school hours, before 6:00 a.m., or after 9:00 p.m.

Allows children over 12 years of age to be employed in specified occupations during school vacations of 2 weeks or more.

Permits public school districts to employ students for a maximum of 10 hours per week, provided the employment is voluntary and has written consent from the student's legal guardian.
