Proposes an amendment to Section 8, Article III of the Idaho Constitution to limit legislative sessions to a maximum of 80 calendar days in duration.

Maintains existing provisions that the legislature shall meet annually at the state capital commencing on the second Monday of January, unless a different day is appointed by law, and at other times when convened by the governor.

Directs the Legislative Council to prepare required statements per Section 67-453, Idaho Code for the proposed amendment.

Directs the Secretary of State to publish the proposed constitutional amendment and supporting arguments as required by law.

Amendment will be submitted to Idaho voters at the next general election with the question: "Shall Section 8, Article III, of the Constitution of the State of Idaho be amended to provide that sessions of the Legislature shall not exceed eighty calendar days in duration?"
