House Bill No. 409 Summary

• Amends Section 39-4106 to revise compensation provisions for Idaho Building Code Board members, specifying that members not otherwise compensated by public moneys shall be compensated according to section 59-509(hn), Idaho Code, for each day spent in attendance at board meetings.

• Maintains the Idaho Building Code Board's composition of 10 members including one general public member, one local fire official, one licensed engineer, one licensed architect, two local building officials, two building contractors, one modular building industry representative, and one individual with a disability.

• Amends Section 54-1908 to establish that Public Works Contractors License Board members shall be compensated as provided by section 59-509(hn), Idaho Code, with compensation paid from the public works contractors license board account.

• Requires the Public Works Contractors License Board to hold at least four regular meetings annually on days no later than the fifteenth day of January, April, July, and October, with four members constituting a quorum.
