Deletes the prohibition against parenting coordinators requiring parties to pay a retainer for services before appointment.

Allows parenting coordinators to seek court review of payment disputes regarding their fees and costs upon request.

Maintains requirement that parenting coordinators be neutral, either mutually selected or court-appointed, and submit to criminal background checks at their own cost prior to appointment.

Empowers courts to allocate parenting coordinator fees and costs between the parties and enter orders for reasonable costs against either or both parties.

Any payment disputes involving parenting coordinator fees and costs remain subject to court review upon request by the coordinator or either party.
