Prohibits discharge of any firearm from or across a public highway in Idaho.

Prohibits children under age 12 from possessing shotguns, rifles, or other firearms in fields, forests, tents, camps, vehicles, or other locations in Idaho.

Permits children under age 12 to possess firearms for hunting if they hold a valid youth hunting license or participate in a mentored hunting program as prescribed by commission rules.

Requires any child under age 12 possessing a firearm for hunting to be accompanied by an adult licensed to hunt in Idaho.

Permits firearms possession for hunting purposes only while in fields or forests.
