HB 502 Summary

• Amends Idaho Code sections 37-2705, 37-2709, 37-2711, and 37-2713 to revise the lists of controlled substances in Schedules I, III, IV, and V and make technical corrections.

• Adds new synthetic cannabinoid compounds to Schedule I controlled substances list, including various indole and pyrrole derivatives and phenolic compounds designed to mimic tetrahydrocannabinol effects.

• Updates Schedule III depressants to correct citation from C.F.R. Sec. 308.32 to 21 CFR 1308.32 and updates numbering of listed controlled substances across multiple schedules.

• Adds Fospropofol to Schedule IV other substances and Ezogabine, Lacosamide, Pregabalin, Propylhexedrine, and Pyrovalerone to Schedule V controlled substances.
