Amends Idaho Code Section 72-1104 to provide temporary disability compensation for peace officers and detention officers employed by the state or local governments who are injured performing their duties.

Eligible injured officers receive full base salary until temporary disability ends if they qualify for worker's compensation wage loss benefits, with income tax withheld as required.

Any worker's compensation benefits received by the injured officer must be remitted to the state or respective city/county, with the peace officer and detention officer temporary disability fund reimbursing employers for remaining unpaid salary amounts.

Establishes three categories of compensable injuries: responding to emergencies, pursuing actual or suspected law violators, or injuries caused by another person's actions.

Provision allowing compensation for injuries caused by another person's actions (Section 72-1104(1)(c)) expires and becomes null and void on July 1, 2015.
