Grants the Board of Nursing authority to establish alternatives to formal disciplinary action, including a practice remediation program to educate and remediate nurses with practice deficiencies.

Reorganizes and renumbers the Board of Nursing's powers and duties in Section 54-1404, Idaho Code, combining the new disciplinary alternatives provision as subsection (3).

Maintains all existing Board of Nursing powers including licensing, renewal, suspension or revocation of licenses, establishment of conduct standards, approval of nursing education programs, and continuing competency evaluation.

Makes technical corrections to the statute by renumbering subsequent subsections and correcting punctuation throughout the powers and duties list.
