Establishes the composition of Senate officers and employees including one secretary, assistant secretary, journal clerk, docket clerk, chaplain, sergeant at arms, doorkeeper, two pages, janitor, payroll clerk, and other assistants as determined necessary by the Senate.

Defines duties for each employee position including the Secretary's responsibilities for attendance and copying, the Journal Clerk's record-keeping, the Doorkeeper's crowd control functions, and the Chaplain's duty to open proceedings with prayer.

All Senate employees shall be selected by an attache committee appointed by Senate leadership and subject to Senate approval, with compensation determined by Senate leadership.

Employees serve at the pleasure of the President Pro Tempore, who is authorized to retain necessary personnel during the interim between sessions.

Employee removal requires a two-thirds vote of Senate members for failure to perform duties, incompetency, or improper conduct; all Senate purchases and expenses must be authorized by written order of the President Pro Tempore.
