Establishes the Health Care Professional Transparency Act as Idaho Code Chapter 17, Title 48, requiring health care practitioners to clearly disclose their license type in advertisements and at their places of business.

Requires advertisements for health care services to spell out the type of license held (not abbreviations or acronyms) or clearly describe the type of treatment provided, and prohibits deceptive or misleading information.

Mandates health care practitioners wear visible identification badges displaying their name and license type and maintain prominent signage at their business locations identifying their license type.

Prohibits health care practitioners from advertising procedures or services outside their licensed scope of practice unless specifically approved by their regulatory board.

Establishes violations as unprofessional conduct subject to disciplinary action by licensing boards, with authority for boards to seek injunctions to prevent violations; effective date January 1, 2014.
