Amends Section 39-4514 of Idaho Code regarding general provisions of the Medical Consent and Natural Death Act

Specifies that assisted feeding or artificial nutrition and hydration cannot be withdrawn or denied if directed by a competent patient, health care directive, or surrogate decision maker

Clarifies that other life-sustaining health care may not be withdrawn or denied unless the care would be futile, as defined in the statute

Defines futile care as treatment for a terminal patient where death is imminent within hours or a few days and will not improve the patient's condition, or treatment whose denial will not result in or hasten death

Makes a technical correction to the statute language regarding application to persons not executing living wills or health care directives
