• Amends Section 33-1002, Idaho Code, to revise provisions related to how students attending alternative secondary schools are counted for state funding purposes.

• Students attending an alternative secondary school in a district with fewer than 100 secondary students in average daily attendance are now assigned to the secondary support units table of the district where the alternative school is located, rather than the alternative secondary table.

• This reassignment does not apply if the alternative secondary school serves students from multiple districts that each report fewer than 100 secondary students in average daily attendance.

• Moneys generated from alternative school support unit computations must be used for alternative school programs, and school district administrative and facility costs may be included in alternative school expenditures.

• Includes technical corrections to the educational support program calculation structure in Idaho Code.
